Abstract: Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) has spread globally and is progressing rapidly, which has a huge impact on human health, economic activities and life styles. Oral and dental care, which produces a lot of aerosols due to the usage of dental turbine, is a high-risk medical field. Whether salivary glands can be infected by SARS-CoV-2 is positively linked with the risks that the dentists confront, as salivary glands are the resources of saliva.
