Sialadenoma papilliferum:a clinicopathologic study of one case

Abstract: Sialadenoma papilliferum(SP) is a kind of rare benign tumor of salivary glands without pain and showing a characteristic papillary growth, it was classified as a ductal papilloma in the WHO's latest tumor classification. The lesions mainly affect the minor salivary glands and the most common site was the palate. The purpose of this paper was to describe a case of sialadenoma papilliferum occurring in mandibular retromolar region and discuss its clinical features and histopathology.
