The clinical feature is that a large number of non enveloped fat tissue masses are diffuse and symmetrically accumulating in the subcutaneous tissues of neck, shoulder and other regions of the body. At present, there is no standard and effective treatment for this disease in the world. This paper reported a case of Madelung's disease. Discussed its etiology, clinical classification, characteristic manifestations, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment based on the existing literature.
