Abstract: PURPOSE: To investigate the effects of biochemical factors of coagulation on vascular crisis after oral and maxillofacial free tissue transplantation. METHODS: Clinical data of 226 patients with oral and maxillofacial free revascularized flaps performed in our department from January 2012 to December 2018 were reviewed. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 22.0 software package. RESULTS:Logistic regression analysis showed that low density lipoprotein(P=0.037, OR=1.435) and fibrinogen(P=0.037, OR=1.380) were significant factors for vascular crisis. CONCLUSIONS: Increased fibrinogen and LDL may raise the risk of vascular crisis of free flap for oral and maxillofacial reconstruction.
