Abstract: Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare and unexplained disease. Relatively few IMTs that occur in the head and neck region have been reported, and IMTs in the maxilla and mandible are much rarer. We presented a case of IMT in the mandible, who was cured after administration of oral prednisone, and discussed the relevant problems based on literature review.
