Studies on symptom cluster assessment tools for patients with head and neck cancers

Abstract

Abstract: Compared with single symptom assessment, symptom clusters assessment is beneficial to comprehensive analysis to find key symptom and relieve symptom burden for patients with head and neck cancers. Because of the speciality of anatomic location and extent of tumor, head and neck cancer patients usually experience serious symptoms. These symptoms have great influence on patients' outcomes. At present, there still has been a lack of domestic study on symptom clusters assessment tool for patients with head and neck cancers. This review summarized the studies on the symptom cluster assessment instrument for patients with head and neck cancers.
