摘要: 黏液表皮样癌(mucoepidermoid carcinoma,MEC)是最常见的唾液腺恶性肿瘤,曾一度被认为良性肿瘤而称作黏液表皮样瘤。虽然MEC均由黏液细胞、中间细胞和表皮样细胞构成,但其临床生物学行为表现各异,可分为低度恶性、中度恶性和高度恶性。客观准确地评价MEC的恶性级别,对于临床上确定治疗方案具有重要的指导意义。近年来陆续筛选出的若干预后相关分子标志物,有望与传统组织病理学分级相结合,形成有助于完善MEC预后评估的评价体系。

Abstract: Mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) is the most common salivary gland malignancies, which used to be classified as mucoepidermoid tumor. Although MEC is composed basically of 3 different cell types: a mucin-producing cell, an epidermoid cell, and an intermediate cell, MEC may have different biological behaviors, which can be divided into low, moderate, and high grade. It is important to distinguish the histopathologic grade, in order to make appropriate treatment plan. In recent years, several prognostic molecular markers have been discovered, which are expected to be combined with the traditional histopathological classification to form a rating system for improving prognosis assessment of MEC.
